Ivan studied environmental health and horticulture and is the owner of Abrus Enterprise.
He works in the fields of environmental rehabilitation, the landscape industry, plant search and rescue, plant breeding, horticultural product development.

He is also a sculptor working with ceramic clay as a medium.
